Training Course Terms & Conditions
1. Bookings
A booking is confirmed only once the required deposit has been received.
2. Deposits
All deposits are strictly non-refundable.
3. Payment Plans
Where a participant chooses to pay by instalments under an approved payment plan, the full outstanding balance must be paid no later than 14 days before the scheduled training course date.
If the remaining balance is not received by this deadline, Pietra Creations reserves the right to cancel the participant’s booking and allocate the place to another attendee. Any deposits and instalment payments already made are non-refundable.
4. No Shows
Participants who fail to attend without prior approval forfeit all amounts paid.
5. Transfers
A transfer to a future course date may be offered at Pietra Creations’ discretion, where at least seven days’ notice is provided and places are available.
6. Course Changes
Pietra Creations may reschedule or cancel a course due to unforeseen circumstances. Participants will be offered a transfer or refund where the course is cancelled by Pietra Creations.
7. Certificates
Certificates are issued only to participants who complete the course requirements.
8. Warranty Eligibility
Pietra Creations provides a warranty on its decorative finish systems only where the products have been applied by an applicator who has successfully completed the relevant Pietra Creations training course and has followed our recommended application system, technical specifications, and installation procedures.
To maintain warranty eligibility, certified applicators must complete at least one project using the relevant Pietra Creations product within six (6) months of completing the training course. This requirement ensures that application techniques, product knowledge, and system requirements remain current.
Where an applicator has not completed a qualifying project within this six-month period, Pietra Creations reserves the right to determine that the applicator is no longer eligible for warranty coverage, and may require the applicator to complete refresher training before warranty eligibility is reinstated.
No warranty is provided where products have been applied by an untrained applicator, or where our specified application procedures, technical specifications, or recommended application system have not been followed.
9. Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights or remedies available to you under the Australian Consumer Law.
